Details: Details: SEMAFO completed a bought deal public offering of common shares for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $120 million. The underwriters, led by Jennings Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc. and Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., and including BMO Capital Markets, National Bank Financial Inc., Haywood Securities Inc., Clarus Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc., elected to fully exercise their over-allotment option, resulting in a total of 17,250,000 common shares being issued. Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund Details: Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Income Fund (“MPT”) announced the acquisition of a 20-megawatt solar photovoltaic (“PV”) power project to be designed, built and operated in Amherstburg, Ontario, on behalf of MPT by SunPower Corp. The approximate $130-million Amherstburg Solar Park will be primarily funded by a syn- dicate of international lenders including Dexia Crédit Local S.A., Caixanova America and WestLB AG, with approx- imately $33 million of equity to be contributed by MPT prior to the start of commercial operations, which is antic- ipated to be in June 2011.
