Each of the entries below has been provided by a Canadian law firm involved in the deal. Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. Details: Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (“Reliance”) completed its acquisition of all the securities of Continental Alloys & Services, Inc. and certain affiliated entities (“Continental”). Reliance acquired Continental from EdgeStone Capital Partners and its co-investors (“EdgeStone”) and Continental management for a purchase price of approximately US $415- million, subject to certain adjustments. Other terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed. Date: Closed August 1, 2011. On the Deal: For EdgeStone: Cameron Rusaw, Ian Crosbie, Duncan Osborne and Richard Elliott, Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. Details: 5N Plus Inc. closed a new $ 250,000,000 senior secured multi-currency revolving credit facil- ity to replace its existing worldwide credit facilities and for other corporate purposes. National Bank of Canada acted as administrative agent for the syndicate of lenders. National Bank Financial Markets and HSBC Bank Canada acted as co-lead arrangers and joint bookrunners.
