Each of the entries below has been provided by a Canadian law firm involved in each deal. Teck Resources Limited and Fronteer Development Group Inc. Details: Teck Resources Limited and Fronteer Development Group Inc. announced the completion of the sale of 100 per cent of the jointly held Aği Daği and Kirazli gold projects located in Turkey to Alamos Gold Inc. for $40-million (U.S.) cash and subscribing for 4,000,000 common shares of Alamos having an aggregate value of approximately $51-million. Giuffre, Linda Chow and Nimmi Khangura, Axium Law Corporation. Anthony Zoobkoff, Teck Resources Limited Jilin Jien Nickel and Goldbrook Ventures Inc. Details: Jilin Jien Nickel Industry Co., Ltd. (“Jilin Jien”) and Goldbrook Ventures Inc. (“Goldbrook”) completed the acquisition of (“Canadian Royalties,” formerly listed as TSX:CZZ and CZZ.DB) pursuant to an all-cash takeover bid (the “Take-Over Bid”) for all of the outstanding common shares (the “Shares”) and 7 per cent convertible senior unsecured debentures due March 31, 2015, (the “Debentures”) of Canadian Royalties. The Take-Over Bid was made through Jien Canada Mining Ltd. (“Jien Canada”), a jointly owned subsidiary of Goldbrook and Jilin Jien. Total cash consideration in the Take-Over Bid was approximately $192-mil- lion (including accrued interest on the Debentures). Date: Closed Jan. 12, 2010.
